> ART GALLERY

An interesting collection in which I've gathered over the years, ranges from various medias and types of work: still lifes, character design, sketches, finearts, computer generated images (cgi), and sequential art (comic style). And finally now, I am getting a chance to present it to world.

The character on the left was just a sketch on notebook paper when I was in class one day. Of course it took about 5 class periods to finish, not on the same day, but over a couple of days. Don't get the impression that I don't pay attention in class, I do, but sometimes the teacher is just unprepared to take advantage of the whole class period, about one hour and a half. After about an hour, sometimes there's nothing to do. I just thought I should say that to justify my actions, before someone criticizes that I'm a slacker in school. Well, let's get back to the piece on the left, I did the original in late 98 or early 99, but it was revised recently with some digital effects for a more contemporary feel, to fit the theme of this home page.

If taken the time, you'll notice that the pieces has an artistic progression, whether it's in cgi or finearts. I can only assume that this progression is for the better. According to Scott Adams, Creator of DILBERT, he said, "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." I hope I'm keeping those right 'ones'.
